API Terms & Data License

These combined Terms of Use and Data License (together, the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrashScores API (the "API") and the data you obtain through it (the "Data"). By requesting a key or making a request, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the API. "You" means the holder of a valid API key.

1. What the API Provides

The API is a free, self-serve, read-only feed of real-time results for the live shows and crash games we track. Four games are available publicly today. For each round you get the result and multiplier, the number of winners, and the total payout with currency. A new round lands roughly every 25 to 80 seconds depending on the game, and the feed updates as each round settles. Access is free in exchange for a single link back to CrashScores (section 4).

2. Free Tier and Limits

Everything runs on one free tier. The published limits below apply per key. Do not attempt to circumvent them, share or resell your key, use multiple keys to exceed the limits, or place undue load on the service. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke access that we reasonably believe is abusive.

The list endpoint returns at most the 500 most recent rounds per call; there is no deep pagination into history. For a specific or older round, request it by id. The Developers / API page includes a rough calculation of how many requests a typical integration needs.

3. Access and Keys

A free key is tied to a single domain you control and is issued through our self-serve flow once we confirm the required attribution link is live on that domain (section 4). You are responsible for keeping your key confidential; usage under your key is your responsibility. Send the key in the X-API-Key header on every request. A key can be re-issued at any time by re-verifying your domain, which revokes the previous key.

4. Attribution Link (Free Tier)

Free use requires one visible, followable link to crashscores.com on your homepage. That single link is the entire requirement: no fixed wording, no badge, and no special markup are needed, and the link must not be marked nofollow or otherwise blocked from being followed. We provide a ready-made snippet for convenience, but any normal editorial link works. We re-check periodically; if the link is removed or hidden, the key is suspended until it is restored. Removing, hiding, or nofollow-ing the link while continuing to use the Data is a breach of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

Use the Data lawfully and responsibly. Do not use the API to break any law, to target or profile individuals, to present the Data as your own without attribution, or in any way that misrepresents CrashScores. The Data concerns gambling products; if you display it, do so responsibly and only to audiences permitted in your jurisdiction, with appropriate 18+ and responsible-gambling notices.

6. Data License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to retrieve and display the Data on the registered domain associated with your key, for as long as your key is valid and the attribution link is in place. This license transfers no ownership.

You may

• Display the Data to your visitors on your registered site.
• Cache responses briefly to reduce load, provided what you show stays reasonably current.
• Present the Data alongside your own content, with a clear, followable CrashScores link.

You may not

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or provide the Data as a bulk feed or competing API to third parties.
• Remove, hide, or nofollow the attribution link while using the Data.
• Store the Data to build a permanent independent archive or dataset for redistribution.
• Present the Data as your own, or in a way that implies CrashScores endorses you.
• Use the Data unlawfully, or to target or profile individuals.

7. Data and Availability

The Data is provided "as is". It is sourced live and may be delayed, interrupted, incomplete, or incorrect. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uptime, and we may change, limit, or remove endpoints and fields at any time. Always treat the official game and operator records as authoritative.

8. Ownership and Third-Party Rights

The Data describes live shows and crash games produced by third parties whose games, names, and content belong to their respective owners; we are not affiliated with them and reference them only to identify the games. Nothing here grants you rights in those third-party marks or content.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrashScores is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the API or the Data, including any gambling losses. The API is not affiliated with the producers or operators of the games it reports on.

10. Suspension and Changes

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, and we may update these Terms or the API from time to time. Material changes are reflected in the date above; continued use after a change means you accept it.
