How to Play Funky Time

Welcome to the Disco

Funky Time is Evolution's 70s-themed money wheel. Every round gives you about 16 seconds to bet, the host sends the big digital wheel spinning, and it stops on one of three kinds of segments: the number 1, a letter, or one of four bonus games. Random multipliers are sprayed onto the wheel before each spin, so any segment can carry a boost when it hits.

The Betting Grid

The simplest bet is the 1. When the wheel lands on a 1 segment, that is an instant win, paid and done. It is the most common outcome on the wheel, which makes it the steady-but-small option.

Then come the letters. Twelve of them - P, L, A, Y, F, U, N, K, T, I, M and E - are spread across 24 segments, and each letter pays 25 to 1 by default. You bet on individual letters, and the fun compounds when a random wheel multiplier happens to sit on the letter that lands.

Finally there are the four bonus spots: Bar, Stayin' Alive, Disco and VIP Disco. You need a bet on a bonus to take part when it hits.

The Bonus Games

Bar is the quick one: three glasses on the bar, you pick one, and a single-reel slot assigns a multiplier to a random glass. Guess right and it is yours.

Stayin' Alive is a survival climb. Ninety colored balls sit in a machine, you join the green, pink or orange team, and each ball in your color moves you up a 20-level multiplier ladder that tops out at 10,000x. Four lives protect you from the wrong colors - run out and your climb is over.

Disco and VIP Disco send Mr. Funky dancing across a lit floor, collecting regular and special floor multipliers as he goes. Disco uses a 37-square floor; VIP Disco is the premium version on a 63-square floor, and it is the marquee event of the whole game.

How Payouts Work

A plain result pays its base rate - 1 to 1 on the number, 25 to 1 on a letter. If the winning segment carried one of the round's random multipliers, the multiplier applies on top. In the bonus games, your bonus-spot stake is multiplied by whatever the bonus resolves to, and the game records a single total multiplier for every round.
